TERMS OF SERVICE

These terms of service are made Effective from the 18th July 2022 These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AFRICA DIGITAL LITERACY SCHEME Web Platform. Please read these Terms carefully and contact us if you have any questions. By creating an account under these Terms/by accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. OUR SERVICE

AFRICA DIGITAL LITERACY SCHEME also known as the (AFRICA - DLS) is a web platform designed for Digitalizing Skill Acquisition and Certification Processes to Enhance Human Capital Development across all career and professional sectors, inclusive of the Senior Staff and Top Executives in The Government and Private Sectors, Staff of Security, Defence and Law Enforcement Agencies, Leaders and Executives in the Education sector, Leaders and Executives in the Religious Sector, Civil Service Staff, Education Staff (Academic and Non-Academic) and all.

The scheme is driven with the vision to create Digital & Social Transformation and Sustainable Economic Development and a mission to accelerate careers and business with online digital workshops in everything from basic skills to advanced specialization and beyond.

2. ACCESS TO SERVICE

a. Who can Register and use the AFRICA-DLS platform

This platform is opened to all career and professional sectors, inclusive of Senior Staff and Top Executives in The Government and Private Sectors, Staff of Security, Defence and Law Enforcement Agencies, Leaders and Executives in the Education sector, Leaders and Executives in the Religious Sector, and all Civil Service Staff, Education Staff (Academic and Non-Academic) and all.

To access this service, you are required to have a good network environment. Ensure acceptance of the stipulated terms of service. Payment of registration fee for any of the categories of attendees. Approval of payment made. Upon creating your account, you must ensure to provide us with accurate and complete information. Part of our Service may include software that is downloaded to your computer, phone, tablet or other device, or made accessible at any time in your portal. You agree that we can update the software automatically where necessary and that these Terms will apply to any updates

b. Our license to you.

Subject to these Terms of Service we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use our Service

3. USE OF SERVICE

The AFRICA - DLS web platform is solely for use by registered users. Your login details are for you alone, any act to duplicate or share will be taken as a breach of terms of service and such act is subject to gross liability.

All users are expected to input only accurate, correct, reliable and UpToDate information. Registration is individual based on the category/network of profession you belong to, however where an association or group of persons belong to the same category/network desires to register under its body, kindly contact us in order to obtain certain benefits to this regard.

For the purpose of this terms of service, Register/Registration, and Registered user/users is regarded as follows; Register, Registered or Registration is determined upon fulfilment of the conditions outlined under the ACCESS TO SERVICE.

You are expected to register before the training date and prepare to attend the training on the date slated for your training. You have the opportunity to re-access the workshop materials and activities only after the end of the training.
Kindly note that the web application Content is protected by copyright and should not be violated in any form.

4. PAYMENT

Payment is to be made on the platform. Method of Payment can be through any medium/form displayed on the web application. Any form of payment made other than that which is displayed shall be rendered invalid.

Kindly note that payment of any form is non-refundable.

5. CONFIDENTIALITY AND DATA PROTECTION

We care about the security of our users. Data provided upon registration and use of the platform are safely protected.

Upon registration and payment, unique login details will be given to you. As a registered user, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. We will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation

You undertake to maintain full confidentiality over your login details and access to your account page. You are responsible for any unauthorised use of your account page on the web application, and no liability is transferred.

If at any point you discover any unauthorized use of your login details and access to your information account page, you must notify us immediately at support@stableshield.com

You are responsible for all activities that occurs under your account.

6. SUPPORT

Technical support is available via email at support@stableshield.com

Any support outside the appropriate use of the web platform may be subject to an extra cost of service.

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, consequential damage, loss, or interruption of any kind to a registered user upon rendering technical support.

7. TERMINATION OR RESTRICTION OF SERVICE

We may terminate, suspend, or restrict your right to access or use this Service for any reason with appropriate notice. To the extent permissible by law, we may terminate, suspend, or restrict your access or use immediately and without notice if we have good reason, including any violation of these Terms of service.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses.

9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any dispute arising from the breach and violation of these terms of service, you agree to first to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute with us informally. If we need to contact you, we will do so at the email address associated with your Account. If we are not been able to resolve the dispute with you informally, we each agree to resolve any claim, dispute or controversy (excluding claims for injunctive or other equitable relief) arising out of or in connection with or relating to these Terms through binding arbitration or in small claims court.

10. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the federal republic of Nigeria, and disputes will be determined under the laws of the federation.

11. GENERAL TERMS

Modification of Terms

The stipulated terms and conditions may be subject to review from time to time at our sole discretion, and the most current version will always be posted on our website. If a revision, in our discretion, is material, we will notify you.

We reserve the right at any time to modify the terms of service including the Payment amount of all Services. We will however ensure to notify you. Such notice may be provided at any time by posting the changes on the web application, by email notification, or any other means deemed fit to notify you.

we shall not be liable to any user for any modification made of the terms and conditions in any form. By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

Entire agreement/severability

These Terms, together with and any amendments and any additional agreements you may enter into in connection with the Service, shall constitute the entire agreement concerning the Service and supersede any prior terms you have with regards to this Service. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.

No waiver

No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
